ESLA 2010 Meeting Schedules

In Memoriam
A supporter and past Board member of ESLA, Terry Snowday Jr. passed away 17 April, 2010. Terry was an avid outdoors-man and as such his involvement in ESLA was an easy fit for him. Active in our Environmental Protection Committee as well as a Zone C Director, he was a wildlife conservationist with a passion for all things outdoors. Terry was also invested in his Elk Lake community, particularly The Miami Beach Road Association. They have honored Terry with a monetary gift, to ESLA, to be used in effort that would best fit Terry's preservationist interests. We thank The Miami Beach Association for their gift and extend our condolences to Terry's family. He was a true friend of ESLA and spoke loudly through his actions of ESLA support. Terry will be missed in many ways. Peace!

New Members Report
For the 2009 membership year, 600 member families from the lakes and rivers were counted.  When new riparians join ESLA they are sent a welcoming letter from the president, a Riparian Handbook, a history of ESLA and a copy of the most recent newsletter.  The ESLA membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.  It is hoped that every riparian, old and new, on our lakes and streams will become an ESLA member in 2010.
